A & P Spring Show

Gisborne's 137th Annual Spring Show will this year be held on
Friday 12th October and Saturday 13th October 2012
with Equestrian events commencing on Thursday 11th October.

Hailed by visitors as "the Best in the country", all the traditional A&P Show activities will be presented from:

equestrian show horses and ponies to show jumping and dressage
wood chopping and chain-sawing competitions
national dancing and dog trialling
dairy goat and sheep classes
wool competition, speed shearing, shearing and wool handling
home industries, arts and crafts displays

to a wide range of entertainment in the:

Mokairau Stud Bullarama - Friday evening in the Gisborne Equestrian Covered Arena
Gisborne Herald Farmyard
Mahons Amusement and sideshow arena and at the Play Pen free children's stage
Corsons Wine & Food Pavilion
Farmers Air Farming Futures Pavilion Cooking contests, boning out demonstrations and the annual Town v. Country Debate
the Radioworks Event Centre Stage, and Turanga FM Demo Arena + roving bands and entertainers
and the BayQuip Agricultural Main Arena entertainment on Saturday afternoon including the Gisborne Wool Co Grand Parade, and the Eastland Group Shepherd's Challenge

as well as over 200 Trade Exhibitor Sites throughout Showgrounds Park both inside and out. They are all the
